We need to create a new energy around issues of race in America-not by avoiding them but by facing what they really are and then by being willing to engage in a transformation of consciousness regarding how we see them and each other. This book is my best effort to share, through one man’s “lense” the realities that must be faced before the US of America can become post racial. It is a ride through the challenges and frustrations to the hopes and possibilities, so please read the book in its entirety. It makes clear that only if we tap the depth of our spirit will we be able to move toward unity and justice; that spirit that realizes the absolute necessity of staying interconnected and that can transform the pain associated with race into a strength that can propel us forward.
